Data processing agreement
Dated 20 October 2026.
The terms on which Signature Dash processes personal information on your behalf. It forms part of our terms of service for every customer, with nothing to sign.
What's in here
1Who this is between
This agreement is between you, the customer who holds a Signature Dash account ("you"), and Legacy Networks Pty Ltd (ABN 57 660 541 257), which operates Signature Dash ("we"). For the personal information you put into Signature Dash, you decide what is collected and why, and we process it only to provide the service to you.
2What we process, and why
| Purpose | Providing Signature Dash: building, hosting, sharing and installing email signatures, and the related QR codes, short links, business cards and link-in-bio pages. |
|---|---|
| Whose information | Your team members, your clients' people (agency plans), and people who install a signature from your share links. |
| What information | Names, job titles, email addresses, phone numbers, office addresses, photos and logos, social profile links, and sign-in details. Basic usage information such as signature image loads and link clicks. |
| How long | For as long as your account is open, then as set out in section 10. |
Please don't put sensitive information (such as health or financial details) into signatures; the service isn't designed for it.
3Your instructions
We process this information only to provide the service, as you configure it, and as the law requires. If we think an instruction breaks the law, we'll tell you. We don't sell it, and we don't use it to advertise to anyone.
4Our people
Anyone at Legacy Networks who can access customer information is bound to keep it confidential and accesses it only to run and support the service.
5Security
We keep appropriate technical and organisational measures in place to protect the information, as described on our security page. We may improve them over time, but won't make them weaker overall.
6Our suppliers (sub-processors)
You agree that we use the suppliers listed on our security page and in our privacy policy. We only use suppliers who commit to protecting personal information under their own data protection terms, which we review before using them.
We'll give at least 30 days' notice by email before adding or replacing a supplier that handles your information. If you object on reasonable grounds and we can't resolve it, you can close your account and we'll refund any prepaid fees for the unused period.
7Where data goes
Your account data is stored in Sydney, Australia. Signature images are served worldwide, and payment and email are handled by suppliers who operate internationally. Where information leaves Australia (or, for customers in the EU or UK, leaves those regions), we rely on appropriate safeguards. Where the law requires Standard Contractual Clauses, we can provide them on request.
8Helping you meet your obligations
If someone asks to see, correct or delete their information, you can do most of this yourself in Signature Dash. Where you can't, we'll help. If a request comes to us directly about your account, we'll pass it to you rather than answer it ourselves. We'll also give reasonable help with privacy impact assessments and regulator enquiries about the service.
9Breaches
If we become aware of a breach affecting your information, we'll tell you without undue delay and within 72 hours where we can, with what we know, what we're doing about it, and who to contact. We'll keep you updated as we learn more.
10When the service ends
You can export your signatures and people at any time. When you ask us in writing to close your account, we delete your information, including stored images, within 30 days of that request, except where the law requires us to keep records (for example tax records). Backups held by our suppliers are overwritten on their normal cycle.
11Checking our work
On reasonable request, we'll answer security questionnaires and share the information you need to confirm we're meeting this agreement, including our suppliers' independent audit reports where they allow it.
12Law and order of precedence
This agreement is governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. If it conflicts with our terms of service on how personal information is handled, this agreement wins.
